About Fear.FM

 Is it possible to listen with my mobile phone?
This depends on what type of mobile phone you are using. Fear.FM can only be received through the internet. To listen to Fear.FM you need an internet connection and a phone that can open our flash player.

There are also some other types of phones that have custom players. Please check our forum about with which phones this is possible.
 Can I listen to Fear.FM by using a normal FM radio?
No, it is not possible to listen to Fear.FM by using a FM radio. Fear.FM is only broadcasting through the internet.

This means you can only listen to Fear.FM by using an internet connection.
 Is it possible to advertise on Fear.FM?
There are various way to advertise on the Fear.FM website. For more information, please see:

Music on Fear.FM

 Can you play my own made music?
We can not play your home made tracks. Make sure your tracks get released by an official record label so our residents will notice it and play it.

You can also try contacting our residents for airtime of your track. an option to do this is by clicking on the artist profile and send the user a personal message at our website.

 Why does Fear.FM broadcasts commercials
Due the fact that broadcasting music costs a lot of money and licences need to be paid we are forced to play commercials. We will play them in 3 blocks every hour with a maximum of 4 minutes.
 

Listening to Fear.FM

 Can I listen to Fear.FM with my own custom player?
Yes this is possible. We added a select box at our player where you can select your favorite type.

Click the type you want and a file will appear automaticly. Open this file in your selected player and the stream will start.
 

Working for Fear.FM

 I want to help Fear.FM. Where can I find the open jobs?
We are always looking for people to support our team. You can find all the info about our open jobs at "vacancies" page which can be found in the "about us" menu.
 How do I become a resident on Fear.FM?
Are you a DJ and do you think you are just as good as other Fear.FM residents? Checkout our Vacancies page which will tell you exactly if we have room for new DJ's and what you have to do.

Our stream manager will review your demo. If it is good enough and there is a free spot at our schedule, you are welcome to the team.

Note, DJs that use computer software to mix wont be allowed to play at our streams.

 

Fear.FM Magazine

 Is it possible to have a Fear.FM photographer at my event?
You can always send us a request to take a photoshoot at your event. Send an email including all event details to magazine@fear.fm.

Our photographers will pick the events manually.
 I have a new press message. Where can I send it?
You can always send your press message to magazine@fear.fm. Our staff will review your press message and publish it after that.

Make sure you always deliver proper content. Fear.FM is an international website so we prefer english press messages. Dutch messages will need to be translated and will take longer before they can and will be published. Please note that an image is mandatory.

If you are a label owner or producer and you want us to review some work? Send in an email to magazine@fear.fm and include the review package.
 

Release Database

 I can not add a release because the label is not in the database
It can always happen that a label is not in the Fear.FM database. We do our best to add as much labels and releases as possible. To do this we need your help.

If you notice that a label is not in the database, please create an helpdesk ticket which you can find at http://helpdesk.fear.fm. Go for the submit a ticket option and don't forget to select the "Release database" section. Our moderators will do their best to add the new label as soon as possible.
 When can a "free" release be added to the database
A free release can only be added to the database if the artist had an official release in the past on an official registered record label
