We recently finished up our first (full) HS track, and I wanted to get your opinion on what we did right/what needs improvement.

Artist: Kevin The Disease
Track: R8T10

Overall I'm pretty happy with the sound.

If anyone wants the file for download, let me know and I will post it on here (its on my other computer).

Thanks for the reply and the positive feedback..
I'm not familiar with dancetunes (as I am located in the US), but I am looking into it.
What other avenues would you recommend to get more visibility for the track (and future ones we are working on)?

Thanks man... much appreciated!

We're working on getting a bandcamp page set-up, and I will post the link here when it's set up (tomorrow most likely). The HD download will be available there.

We have a few more tracks in progress and will post them soon.

Great to see that US are producing hardstyle. Keep up the good work ^^
ps: maybe you should try with a louder kick... the melody is too loud compared with the kick...
There's no real 'qlimax' feeling yet

I agree with kevinvdp, a louder kick would really improve the tune.

Definitely appreciate the feedback. We can go in and remix/remaster to get the proper balance.

The kick seems to be the toughest thing for us to nail down. We're trying to build a custom one from scratch (we use reason) and we want to end up with one that is somewhat definitive/unique. We've both been busy with work as of late so we haven't had much time to work on producing, but I have some new tracks I'm pretty excited about and will post another preview here later today.

Yes, I think we are some of the few that really love hardstyle here in the states, and I don't know of anyone else (East Coast at least) that is producing. However, I think the style is still growing and spreading. It seems to that my friends here who like electronic music prefer the more melodic hardstyle (I played a girlfriend of mine Showtek- Music on My Mind and she loved it).

The good news is, we have showtek coming to Atlanta in August, and I am pumped about that. I know people have mixed opinions on their newer stuff, but their classics are, imo, some of the strongest hardstyle tracks ever (colours of the harder styles, dust 2 dust, etc).

Thank you guys again for the feedback and check back when you have a moment today for the new track(s) (may post a few now that i think about it :D )
