The Hardest Fear Podcast

Starting in January 2012, a new podcast will be launched on Fear.FM on the Hardest Stream: The Hardest Fear Podcast, Hosted by DJ Repix. And it won't be just a simple podcast, but rather one that will cover different things every month. The style will vary between Early Hardcore/Rave, Hardcore and Frenchcore. This podcast will start every month with a self-made mix by DJ Repix, which will take half an hour, and in that 30 minutes he will give his own view on the style used that month. Besides that, there will be a one hour long mix presented by a guest DJ. The guest DJ will be different each month, and the preference will go to DJs with their own sound, so you can expect great sets from the biggest heroes. The podcast will be broadcasted on Fear.FM every first Monday of the month at 19:30 until 21:00 and will be re-broadcasted every third week of the month.

"I am Nick van Middendorp, and I'm living with the scene for a few years now. On my first hardcore party I knew I'd had found my place in the hardcore scene. After a while, I started experimenting with computer mixes, and started broadcasting these on the Internet. On a certain point I had so much positive reactions that it all came clear to me; I should be going further into the scene, and do more than just broadcasting. When I started mixing, my first DJ set followed quickly, and after a few months the first pioneers where in my posession!"

Nick also won some major contests and has already performed at bigger parties such as 'Square 1 2011' and the contest of Cyndium Events.

"Later than year I've won the Imperial Hardcore contest in Belgium, and at the end of the year I had the opportunity to be an opening set as a reservist at T-Town Madness. Now in 2012 I will start my own podcast, to blow you guys off your feet with the greatest sets of the best DJ's and I will show you glimp of my music world."

To give you a little preview, I will already tell you in what style the podcast will start with. And that's exactly what you can expect, we are going back to the start, the early days!

So without further ado, I present: DJ Frantic Freak!

So it promises to contain a lot of early violence! At 19:30: DJ Repix will open with an intro, followed by a nice hard early mix, and after that at 20:00, Mister Frantic Freak will appear, who will blow you guys away with his lovely early sounds!
