This weeks UHM Show is brought you by DJ Red Ace.
In the early 90’s Perry Patelski, aka DJ Red Ace, visited a lot of illegal house/rave parties and also Parkzicht. It didn’t take that long before he started to buy his own vinyl records. In 1994 Red Ace started organizing parties in Valkenburg with some local hero’s like DJ Potato and Sixkiller. In 1996 he joined the KNS DJ-team and started performing at bigger raves and house parties. Some highlights in that period were the performances at Megarave-Energiehal, 2nd place at the Dutch hardcore DJ contest, Pandomonium-Platte zoal, DJ resident at The Blue Angel in Vaals and some live shows on radio Stein.
Since 2000, Perry started to play more Belgium retro, early rave and oldschool classics together with friends and DJ’s like Pita, Mol and Potato. This led to some legendary performances in the south of Holland and Belgium. Other highlights in that period were, becoming a resident at DOFT oldschool radio and organizing the Reversed parties in the famous club the ‘Peppermill’.
Nowadays, DJ Red Ace is known as a DJ who mixes the sound of the glory days with the greatest passion making more and more youngsters start to appreciate these early sounds.
