On Saturday the 17th of September, First Vision finished the festival season with the rebirth of Frequence at the beach of Aquabest. After 5 years, more than 20 international top artists brought this historic festival in Brabant back to life. Jochen Miller, D-Block & S-te-Fan and Mightyfools took care of a nostalgic and banging return of Frequence together with Marcel Woods, Showtek and Marco V.

[Report] Mysteryland 2011 (NL)

Mysteryland is a party every lover of dance music should go to. The ticket prices are slowly getting more expensive, but this hasn't stopped everyone from buying tickets and making it sell out out again. Because of the bad weather forecasts a lot of people wanted to sell their ticket but not us. We, as real diehards, didn’t even think about that and made the trip to Hoofddorp. [Report] Earthquake 2011

Another exciting edition of Earthquake is coming up, once again held indoor. A “new” location is being presented, or rather: an old location under a new name. In earlier years, German organizers P.T.P. hosted many legendary parties here and after some important renovations, the former Tarm (not to be mistaken with the Tarm Centre in Cologne) reopened its doors under the pretty straightforward “Event Center” moniker. [Report] The Qontinent 2011 (BE)

In its 4th year, The Qontinent presented probably the best line-up in its existence, mainly due to the incredible hosting partners. Contrary to last year’s edition, where Liberty White and Footworxx were only allowed one day, both were given two days to present themselves to the international audience at Puyenbroeck recreation area. After years of visiting Dutch or the occasional Belgian or German party, every party animal longs for a change of scenery and the same goes for us. [Report] Festivaart

Festivaart was the first edition of a new concept in the east of the Netherlands with a capacity of 4250. A festival with three areas containing Hardstyle, House and Electro/Dubstep and various other styles in an area called ‘The 7th Heaven’. Festivaart was held at the second day of June, on a Thursday because of ascension day (hemelvaart), which is originally a Christian holiday.

[Report] Blokkade

Last night we visited “Blokkade”. The local organisations ‘De Stoorzender’ and ‘Oude Jongens Krenten Brood’ decided to organise a fundraising event especially for ‘Stichting KIKA’ (An organisation sponsoring research to prevent child cancer). Initiatives like this are well appreciated but scarce.

All tickets for Reverze were sold out! There were no more tickets available at the door. They advise you not to buy tickets on the black market. All tickets would be scanned on authenticity! Last weekend the time had come, we were allowed to let all our energy loose in a new ID&T concept called Energy. For the first time, the previously named "Trance Energy" would be carrying a new name and thus also taking a new route. Not many people may have missed the fact that it wasn't a Trance only line-up. For the third time Hard Bass took place in the Gelredome, where in the past it was held at the Silverdome. Considering I’ve been to all three Gelredome editions I can say it only gets better and better. The concept brings a good variation in sets switched with live performances. Time flies when you're there.

After the success of the 4 year anniversary (believe it or not this was two years ago), Liberty White knew they had the potential to grow in terms of location and the number of visitors. Therefore, the 5 year anniversary got the location it deserved: the notorious Flanders Expo in Ghent. Home of probably the most renowned techno-concept in the world, this was a perfect setting to celebrate five years of fusing (hard)techno and hardcore/industrial.
