Fear.FM Release DB
A brand new D-Passion release is always something look out for. D-Passion has produced two new tracks and Promo remixed “Knocking Walls Down” for this digital release.
Different Frequencies
“Different Frequencies”, the trackname speaks for itself. A screaming hard track at a low tempo but without a doubt has some roughness all over it. He experiments with his sounds and came up with another great track. The kicks sound a bit 'chaotic' as they're a bit 'all over the place', yet it sounds pretty awesome. Then he tries out the different frequencies during a sort of 'break'. The frequency has been chosen, time to throw in the kicks again! Some of the regular mainstream hardcore listeners might not like this track as it's not really the style we are used to from D-Passion. It's a very experimental track, but every producer has to experiment with different stuff while producing in my opinion and it worked out quite well for this track.
Indestructible
The second track is called “Indestructible” and is more uptempo than “Different Frequencies”. It has that unique D-Passion trademark. The kicks are superb. Deep rough kicks with lots of distortion, exactly what we like, kicks that will 'knock your walls down'. The mid part has the typical D-Passion sounds, Industrialish, they have been put together to create a cool low synth melody.
Those who love the real D-Passion style, make sure to check out this track !
Knocking Walls Down (Promo Remix)
“Knocking Walls Down” has been chosen for a "Promo Style" treatment, and to be honest: that is a hell of a challenge. As a matter of fact, the only thing that was not good on that track, was its mastering! And I think Promo agreed on that, because the track’s foundation is still there but is now also wearing a Promo-jacket. Sebastian took off the track’s rough edge and recreated it in his own style. But that’s exactly what I loved about the original: the rough, screaming sounds. In my opinion, the original is better than the remix, but the Promo fans will like this one I guess.
