Scope DJ - Hypersonic

In some way, a few producers always seem to surprise me no matter what they do or what they make. Even when they keep close to their own specific style, they still manage to keep their sounds fresh and original. I think this capability of surprising people and delivering high quality tracks again and again is a gift and is something you don't see too often nowadays in the hardstyle scene. One of the DJs that has this amazing talent is Scantraxx's disciple Scope DJ. It is not for nothing I subscribed myself to his youtube channel a few years ago. That way I could always check out his newest tracks, even before they were released. A few days ago Mr. Scope dropped a new track called Hypersonic. Relieved as I was after a couple of months waiting (his last upload was from June this year) I immediately checked it out to find out if Scope again managed to surprise me.

The tracks starts off with female vocals and a cheesy melody and then BAM! the reversed bass kicks in with a monotone technosound. I like the suprise effect in this one, I guess you can call it an "anti climax", only within the midintro. (Anti-midintro?) If you listen to tracks like "Bassleader Anthem", "Househeads", "My Vision", "Identify" (and many more Scope tracks) you immediately feel the big ball of energy that comes out of the powerfull midintros this guy makes. And these are almost always accompanied with a big phat reversed bass. Again, with this track, Scope DJ managed to make a very simple but brilliant sounding midintro. The monotone sound really keeps this first part of the track going, and at the same time surprises you with its versatility. While the short notes makes it sound really uptempo, it also enhances the effect of the reversed bass. Some really good stuff!

Talking about energetic: the climax of "Hypersonic" really has some "can't-stand-still" sounding elements. With the nice uplifting melody and deep droning kicks, I can easily imagine a crowd going totally insane to this stuff. It definitely is a delicious treat for every euphoric hardstyler out there! Knowing that this track will be released on the world famous Scantraxx label, I probably don't even have to mention the high quality it is produced with. The perfect mix of sounds makes you experience every single detail. Unfortunately, I am afraid we still have to wait a little while before it will be officially available in download stores. Till that time I suggest you listen to the preview lots of times and also don't forget to subscribe to the Scope DJ Channel so you never miss a great release such as this one again!
