The Pitcher is a name that's got a tight stronghold on the scene. Michel Pollen, the producer behind The Pitcher can probably be called the modern day Mozart of Hard Dance music. Although we don't see The Pitcher (DJ) perform at too many large gigs (who knows why?) the tracks that flow out of the studio are top notch, which makes my choice for this review very simple.

Ain't Nobody
Everybody knows the original song "Ain't nobody" by Chaka Khan (and has also been covered by artists such as Diana King), which makes this track stand out even amongst the non Hardstyle crowd, this includes my girlfriend as I saw a smile draw accross her face when I decided to grace our living room with the raging beats this track blasts out.

The mid intro is a great combination of some very brutal kicks (at least in my opinion) and a sexy vocal, putting the original into a nice, sexy new jacket which then eventually breaks off into a fairly simple but VERY catchy melody. I have to say, this track is funky, fresh and gets my head bobbing to the beat. Although the idea to use the original "Ain't nobody" and throw it into the Hardstyle blender may sound like a cheesy idea to start with, The Pitcher has voided those fears and used his expertise to churn out one of the hottest tracks of the moment.
It's one of those rare tracks that can even bring a smile to a die hard raw-head's face.

Absolutely brilliant track, with a great use of kicks combined with a happy vocal/melody which makes this track euphorically raw.

Kick it to the Bone
Kick it to the Bone is another one of those funky but rough Hardstyle tracks, with it's hard kicks and housey melodies chased by a pretty awesome "talking" screech (if that makes sense?). The intro is great to use in a Hardstyle set, as the "Ki-ki-kick it to the bone" vocals blast through the intro complimenting the kick, sure does make an interesting transition from the previous track in your DJ set. But don't worry, this track isn't just aimed at DJ's, you'll enjoy this one no matter what level you take Hardstyle in.

Previously, I mentioned a "talking" screech type sound. It's very hard to explain, but it kind of sounds like a mature Donald Duck tripping out to some psychedelics, who in turn is being ripped apart by those pounding kicks. Anyone up for some fried duck tonight?
I could probably say that the title of this track fits perfectly, as the kicks are ripping through my body... to the bone (my poor bones). Make sure to drink your milk before sending this one through your speakers. And if you value your skin, I'd also suggest to hold on to that as well.

The Pitcher is on a roll and I don't think I've ever heard a track I haven't liked. I don't know if I can talk about The Pitcher having a unique sound, but I do know that everything that comes out of that Fusion studio is "unique" in its own way - the overall outcome of the tracks are unique, funky... fresh.
Surprisingly, my overall favorite on this "E.P" would definitely have to be "Ain't Nobody". My emotions aren't too sure if I should smile and feel happy, or clench down on my teeth (watch the tongue) and kick the living crap out of the dancefloor. I think I'll just take the "golden mean" and kick the living crap out of the dance floor while happily smiling.

Also, if you plan on buying these tracks there are 2 versions. One is the "Original Mix" which is the FULL track (including the intro). This is what DJ's would want to buy.
If you plan on putting this onto your MP3 player, I suggest buying the "Original Edit", which is basically a radio edit (intro has been cut out).

So, what do you all think about this release? Looking forward to your comments BELOOWWW.

Can't stand the video, and the song doesn't provide much relief for it either.

Kick it to The Bone doesn't do much to improve the situation either... it's another awesome review but one I can't agree with in all honesty... I'm not a 'Pitcher-hater'... I'm anything but that, but this time he just didn't kick it to the bone for me, maybe next time Shiny
