The Third Movement is back again, this time a 3-Tracker EP from The Wishmaster.
Leaving no soul unturned, The Wishmaster is a valuable addition to the Italian hardcore movement. His sound is fresh, his skills as a performer proven with ease. Now get ready for the next level!
Tracks featured on this release are The Revolution / I Enjoy Chaos / Brain Damage.
The Wishmaster – The Revolution
The track kicks off with some easy claps like every track does. In the background you can hear some vocals coming up already, the well known ‘I’ve Got The Power’ lyrics, they have been used in lots of tracks already but who cares, as long as they are used in a good way it’s not a problem.
And The Wishmaster definitely knows how to use them, right before the intro kicks come to the scene he’s made clear that he has got the power and that he will prove that within the next coming minutes.
The kicks, Jezus Christ cheese on toast, where the fudge did he come up with this ! The kicks are tremendous, I love the deep punch and the distortion, he definitely has put ‘The Power’ in these kicks as they are insanely hardcore.
In combination with some vocal cutting and background noises this intro is top notch, if the intro sounds this big already then you better prepare for the climax.
After the intro there’s a short break, ‘It’s Time For The Revolution’ lyrics being repeated and stretched out which eventually lead us to the melody buildup. The melody is superb, a typical Mainstream melody, yet so beautiful. I’m reviewing this outside in the sun and this track surely wants me to get out of my chair and just dance like a mad man in the sun. This track will go down hard on outdoor events, no doubt about that. The kicks are pounding as hell once again so this climax part has got everything any Hardcore lover needs.
Time for the outro… or not ?
The Wishmaster decided to make a second climax part. No time to rest yet as the outro is still miles away. Time to get your feet stomping again as this climax part has a slightly different melody, yet so energetic that it will get you jumping up and down like a lunatic.
The Wishmaster definitely showed us that ‘He has got the power’. Already a sick track and there are still two to come !

The Wishmaster – I Enjoy Chaos
The second track on this release is "I Enjoy Chaos". My thoughts about this track are the same as "The Revolution". The intro is pretty basic, I do like the way the vocals are being built up in it with a short background noise. Before the kicks kick in, The Wishmaster just wanted to say that ‘He enjoys Chaos’, so you now know what to expect. Madness must be coming now, time for the kicks. And what about those kicks, they are super huge again. You seriously have to hear them on a big sound system, they are able to cause a cardiac arrest. The deepness and distortion of those kicks is what Hardcore is all about.
Time for the break. I honestly approve this break, it’s not too long and it gets right to the point, short vocals immediately followed by the melody buildup. Again, the melody is pretty mainstream, but for some reason his melodies are close to perfection.
The melody goes well in combination with the superb kicks which makes the climax part kickass!
The outro is basicly the same as the intro, pretty awesome, but nothing special nor different compared to the intro.

The Wishmaster – Brain Damage
The last track on this release, the title sounds promising so let’s have a look at this track.
The intro is the basic stuff again, just some claps building up some tension till the intro kicks see the light of day. The kicks seem a bit weaker than the other 2 tracks and also a bit less than I expected based on the title. But if you give it a better listen on a big system, the kick and bass are quite sophisticated.
The break is pretty short again, the sound is slightly fading away as the melody is about to hit the scene. This time the melody is shorter and harder, it sounds pretty wicked.
The kicks go well together with the short melody which results in an okay climax part.
If I may be honest I’m a bit disappointed with this track, definitely after hearing the first two tracks, based on the title I expected a 'hard as hell' track.
I’m not saying that this track is bad, it’s a great production, but I just expected a little bit more out of it!

Overall a very good release from this Italian Producer. He has proven again why he deserves to be producing for one of the best Hardcore labels out there.
