It was only a couple of weeks ago I was writing about the high rate that TNT have been delivering their tracks at. Apparently these guys aren't sitting still when it comes to solo-projects either. Last week Tuneboy updated his YouTube channel with his new track "Mood to swing". The vocals of the track have been taken from 80's dance classic: Celeda - Music Is The Answer (Danny Tenaglia):
"Music is the answer.. to your problems... keep on moving.. then you can solve them... If you feel that you can't take no more.. and you feel like heading for the door... then keep on dancing and prancing... grooving.. keep on moving... flying.. stop me crying.... choosing... while your cruising"
Well with these lyrics, you can't possibly go wrong, can you? Let's find out!
While listening to the first 90 seconds, we can hear the male vocal leading the "midintro", and for some of you who know the sound of it will most likely agree that it's not the first vocal you would think of when discussing a hardstyle track. It doesn't have that macho "Headhunterz attitude", it doesn't sound "Psyko Punkz-gangster" and it sure doesn't have that "Nikkita -fierceness" in it. So despite being beautiful lyrics, the rest of the sounds have to do their best to make it sound like a hardstyle track!
Don't ask me how he does it, but after only the thirst 3 kicks, all my doubts were washed away! Tuneboy manages to make this sound like a hardstyle track with ease. The pounding kicks, extremely fresh sounds and the magical drive in this track really puts me into a "Mood to Swing". Too bad this track wasn't produced earlier this year, because the atmosphere of it really makes me think of being on a festival and drinking the first few beers in the sun with a big smile on my face.
This feeling only gets stronger and stronger when the climax comes through! The powerful lead takes us to very easy going but euphoric melody, which fits nicely with the deep booming kicks. And after the first climax, Tuneboy pulls a trick previously known from tracks such as; "Regenerate It" and "Tunebeat". For the second time, the mid-intro-sound has been brought back to give you some air, but as soon the build up begins, back comes the climax to make you go wild again! It's an original structure, which I (surprisingly) haven't seen too much of in any other hardstyle tracks. The variety of it sure makes listening a bit more interesting.
So, once again, Antonio Dona aka Tuneboy delivers another high quality hardstyle track successfully. A really fresh and uplifting track which you should definitely buy right away!
