Fear.FM Harder

Ruff J., better known as Jasper Pin, was born on the 6th of October, 1988. Even when he was just a little kid, he was listening to electronic house music. It was at that time that he developed his love for this kind of music.

When he was around 14 years old, someone gave him the cd "Pavo - Hardstyle is my style Vol.3".
After just listening to 1 track, he knew that this music was his thing!
Back at home, he listened to the whole cd, and WOW!!
He directly felt in love with the music called : Hardstyle. Later on, he became more and more interested in hardstyle, so he started to download as much tracks he could possibly found. It was not only hardstyle he loved and searched for, but after listening to some Jump and French Tek tracks, he became addicted to that stuff too. After a while, he had a huge collection of tracks and that time he had his first thought about becoming a dj….

With that idea in mind he started to buy his first vinyls.
In January 2007, his dream came true, a friend taught him his first skills as a dj.
It became very clear that Ruff J. got talent! After only a few lessons he knew how to mix the records already. He was so enthusiastic, that soon after his first lessons he bought his own equipment, so he could practice every free minute.

And it worked…. After months of practicing he had send a demo to his favourite club in Holland, The Rodenburg and asked them if there was a possibility that he could play there one time. At first it didn’t work out well, but after a few weeks he received an invitation to join Rodenburg’s Dj contest. He didn’t won it, but later on he received a call. If he could come as soon as possible to the club. An other dj did not show up and they asked him to take that dj’s place! A dream came true! That night he performed really well and everybody was fully satisfied. They offered him a residency immediately!

Now he is developing more and more skills as a dj and he is becoming more and more professional as an artist. He can play all harder styles, but (early) hardstyle is the main ingredient of his sets. His style can be described as rough, hard, and energetic. This DJ is also known as an high technician behind the decks.
